The School of Mathematics and Statistics is excited to present the 2018 Annual Symposium for Secondary Mathematics and Statistics Teachers.
Theme: Keeping up with the Curriculum
Date: Tuesday 11 December
Venue: AM102/104, Alan MacDiarmid Building, Kelburn Campus, Victoria University of Wellington
Time: 8.30am – 4pm
Cost: The event is free to attend, however, there will be a cancellation fee of $20 for no shows or those who withdraw after Friday 7 December
Registrations are now open for the 2018 Symposium and will close on the 24th of November. Spaces are limited so be sure to get in quick.
The Symposium aims to provide secondary mathematics and statistics teachers with an engaging, interactive and innovative professional development day FREE of charge. The 2018 programme is designed to facilitate discussion around changes occurring in our field and dedicated ways to enrich the student learning experience. We hope you will leave the Symposium with a greater understanding of: the potential curriculum changes and new trends in student behaviour (health and wellbeing).
